HydroPaw Pro Fountain — 11L / 2.9 Gal

The bowl ran
out. You just
weren't home
to see it.

Eleven litres of filtered, circulating water. Enough that a big dog — or three — drinks all day, all night and all weekend without a single empty bowl. It runs at 30 decibels. You will forget it is on.

01 — HydroPaw Pro in a real kitchen

The part nobody photographs

A big dog empties
a bowl in 90 seconds.

Then it sits dry for the next nine hours. Here is what that actually costs you.

01You refill four, five times a day — and still find it empty.
02Standing water grows a film. Hair, kibble dust and drool sit in it all afternoon.
03Dogs drink less from flat, warm, still water. Less water is a harder job for the kidneys.
04You leave for a weekend and spend the drive doing bowl maths in your head.

02 — The 11L fill, start to finish

Why this one

Four things a
bowl can't do.

Eleven litres of headroom

A twin-tank body that stacks capacity upward instead of sprawling across your floor. Two Labradors drink for days on one fill, and the graduated side tank tells you exactly where you stand — no lifting a lid to guess.

Cap. 11L / 2.9 gal

Moving water they want

Dogs are wired to trust water that moves. The wide, shallow basin circulates and oxygenates the whole surface — no thin jet to shy away from, no splash war on your skirting board. Wide enough for a Shepherd's muzzle, shallow enough for a senior's neck.

Low-splash basin geometry

Four stages between hair and mouth

Cotton catches hair, crumbs and drool film before they reach the pump. Activated carbon strips odour and taste. Ion-exchange resin softens what's left. Cartridges rinse and reuse — you are not buying filters every fortnight.

Cotton · carbon · ion resin · mesh

Thirty decibels. All night.

Quieter than a whisper across a room, and around a third the noise of a washing machine. It sits in a lounge, a bedroom or a hallway and disappears. The dog notices. Nobody else does.

Acoustic floor — 30dB
02 — Acoustics

It ran all night.
Nobody heard it.

Most fountains announce themselves — a hum, a gurgle, a rattle at 3am that gets them unplugged by week two. An unplugged fountain is just an expensive bowl. HydroPaw Pro runs at 30dB, low enough to sit beside a sleeping child and a sleeping dog and register as nothing at all.

03 — Volume up. That's the whole demo.

03 — Media stack

Hair. Drool film.
Kibble dust.
Caught upstream.

This is the part that kills most fountains for big-breed owners: debris reaches the pump, the pump clogs, the fountain dies. HydroPaw Pro filters in four passes before water ever returns to the basin.

01

Filter cotton

Traps hair, dust and debris before it reaches the impeller. The single biggest cause of dead fountain pumps, stopped at the door.

02

Activated carbon

Coconut-shell carbon pulls odour, chlorine taste and organics out of the water. Fussy drinkers stop hesitating.

03

Ion-exchange resin

Softens hard water and slows the mineral scale that makes cheap fountains rattle and seize after a few months.

04

Reusable cartridge frame

Rinse it, dry it, run it again. Replacement costs fall by roughly half versus disposable-only systems.

04 — Full teardown & filter swap

04 — Refill rhythm

Refill it
on Sunday.
Forget it.

One 11L fill covers a large dog for the better part of a week, or a multi-dog household for several days. Leave on Friday, come back Sunday night — the water is still moving, still filtered, still there.

Based on one large-breed dog. Multi-dog homes refill sooner.

06 — Real owners, first week with it

Straight answers

Ask the
hard ones.

It's the opposite of the fiddly multi-part fountains you've used before. The body separates into a handful of wide, flat-floored pieces with no narrow crevices to dig into — teardown, rinse and reassembly runs about 90 seconds. Bigger openings are easier to clean than small ones, not harder. Weekly for one dog, twice weekly for a busy multi-dog house.
This is the exact failure mode that ruins fountains for Mastiff, Newfie and Saint Bernard owners, and it's why the cotton layer sits first in the stack. Drool film and hair get caught at the top pass instead of circulating back into the basin or seizing the pump. Heavy droolers still want a filter rinse every few days — no fountain on earth changes that — but you're rinsing a cartridge, not scrubbing a slimed-out bowl.
Most pumps don't die of old age — they die of debris and dry running. HydroPaw Pro attacks both: four-stage filtration keeps hair and grit out of the impeller, and the 11L reservoir means the pump is far less likely to be left running against an empty tank. Keep the water above MIN, rinse the cotton layer regularly, and it will outlast anything you've owned in this category.
30dB is the operating floor, and it holds as long as two things are true: the pump stays submerged and the impeller stays clean. Nearly every "my fountain got loud" story traces back to a low water line pulling air, or scale on the impeller. The 11L reservoir handles the first. The ion-exchange layer slows the second.
It holds capacity vertically. The side tank stacks upward rather than sprawling sideways, so the floor footprint is closer to a large bowl than to a 2.9-gallon container. It's designed to live against a wall, in a corner, or beside a doorway without becoming furniture.
Set it beside the old bowl for two or three days rather than swapping straight over. Most dogs approach the moving surface within a day — flowing water is the instinct they're built around. Keep the old bowl until they commit, then remove it.
Orders process within 24 hours on business days and ship tracked, typically landing in 3–7 days depending on your address. Everything is packed in fitted foam because an 11L body has to arrive uncracked. If it turns up damaged or it isn't right for your household, contact support and we'll sort it out.
